Privacy Policy

Custom Home Design ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our website.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide when submitting enquiry forms, including your name, email address, phone number, and message content. We also collect standard web analytics data including page views, browser type, and referring URLs.

How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your design enquiries and service requests
• To send relevant design inspiration and company updates (where consented)
• To improve our website and services based on usage patterns
• To comply with legal obligations

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Australian servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including SSL encryption, regular security audits, and restricted access controls. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies to ensure proper functionality. Analytics cookies (where used) help us understand how visitors interact with our site. You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect some site functionality.

Analytics and How We Measure Visits

We measure site usage in two ways, and neither is used to identify you personally:

• Our own measurement. We record the pages viewed, the approximate location derived from your network connection (country, state and city — never a street address), the type of device and browser used, how you arrived at the site, how long pages were viewed, and how far they were scrolled. A first-party cookie (chd_vid) lets us tell a returning visit from a new one. We do not store your IP address: it is converted into a one-way, daily-rotating code the moment your visit is recorded, and that code cannot be turned back into an address or linked across days.
• Google Analytics 4. Google collects usage data on our behalf under its own privacy terms. See Google's Privacy Policy.

If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, our own measurement is switched off for your visit. Raw visit records are kept for up to 400 days; after that only anonymous daily totals remain.

Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services (such as Google Analytics) that collect anonymous usage data. These services have their own privacy policies governing data use.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@customhomedesign.com.
